KESS3 combines 3 operating modes in one tool. OBD, Bench and Boot mode. - OBD - With the OBD mode, you can easily access all the ECU data through the diagnostic socket.
- BENCH - A simple interface to the connector and you have complete access to the data of your ECU.
- BOOT - This mode allows you to access all system data areas. Read, Write and Clone.

Master or Slave? Operate as you want! A single flexible device that can be configured as required, when the tool is initialized, you can choose the mode of operation.

New OBD Protocol for MD1CS004 – 2.0L TDI VAG Engines
Great news for professionals working with MD1CS004 ECUs installed on 2.0L TDI engines from the VAG group, from 2019 to 2025!
With the latest update, you can now perform VR reading and write directly via OBD on these ECUs, making your operations faster and easier.
Important note: MD1CS004 ECUs with hardware H80 can only be managed via OBD. These specific ECUs cannot be accessed using the BENCH mode.
